Ignoring Cable Quality

A common error is reusing old HDMI cables from a decade ago. Modern 4K and HDR content requires high-speed cables to transmit data effectively. Using an outdated cable can result in a flickering screen or an image that refuses to display in 4K resolution.

Incorrect Picture Settings

Most TVs come out of the box set to 'Vivid' or 'Dynamic' mode, which pushes brightness and saturation to unnatural levels. For the best experience, switch your TV to 'Movie' or 'Cinema' mode. This setting is calibrated to show content as the director intended, providing more natural skin tones and better shadow detail. Additionally, ensure your TV is connected to the internet via a hardwired Ethernet cable whenever possible to avoid buffering during high-resolution streaming.
